When you visit our website, we may collect limited technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited. This is typically used for basic security and performance (e.g., server logs, anti-spam).
3) Why we use your data (Lawful bases)
- To respond to your enquiries (Contact Form or email): We process your data to reply and provide assistance. Legal basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in running our website and responding to queries; and, where applicable, steps prior to entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
- To provide a website audit (Audit Form): We process your details and website URL to deliver the audit you requested. Legal basis: consent (Article 6(1)(a)) via the consent checkbox, and/or contract/pre-contractual steps (Article 6(1)(b)).
- Security and anti-spam: Limited technical data may be processed to protect the site and our users. Legal basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
We do not use your details for unrelated marketing without your permission.
6) International data transfers
If any processing involves transfers outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we will ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision, in line with GDPR requirements.
7) How long we keep data
- Enquiries (Contact Form/email): usually retained for up to 12 months for reference and continuity, unless a longer period is necessary (e.g., ongoing work) or required by law.
- Audit requests: retained for up to 12 months so we can deliver and reference your audit and follow up as needed.
- Server logs/security data: typically retained for a short period (e.g., 30–90 days) unless needed to investigate an issue.
We will delete or anonymise data when it is no longer required for the purpose collected, subject to any legal obligations.
